Message the board are different by several resistors and transistors. I have converted a few 5spd ECU's to automatic when Russell was low on auto ECU's, and I have also converted NA ECU's to twinturbo spec, with full safety boost and all. With the NA->TT conversion on the ECU's there is again only a couple of transistors and resistors responsible for handling the duty. I have a slew of dead ECU's that I use for conversion parts. A lot of the resistors and transistors used for the auto and TT are used extensively on all of the ECU's. I took a handfull of ECU's apart and have a litle bin with the components in them for repairing ECU's and converting them.

But I will tell you this, if you have what you think is a 5 speed ECU in your automatic, you are mistaken. Look on the ECU's label and tell me what the part number is. I'll tell you what ECU you REALLY have.
